ABOUT MY PYROGRAPHY
Pyrography is the medium of drawing on wood with a heated wire. My pyrography is done entirely by hand using this method and the pieces take between 16 and 300 hours to complete. I select the best pieces of hardwood available from the wood mill and especially enjoy pyrographing onto a slice of wood with wonderful bark sides or one in an unusual shape. In 2019, I joined forces with my husband Pascal Pijper of Robustus Woodwork and Joinery to pyrograph designs onto his bespoke furniture.
Here you can view my pyrography below. I have some work available for purchase from The Gallery Melrose.
